POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Sales Operations Analyst is a crucial role responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team. This position focuses on optimizing sales processes, managing, and analyzing sales data, and coordinating various sales related activities, including sales training, marketing events, and ensuring compliance in the use of the Salesforce platform.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Monitor, analyze, and report on sales data and trends to support the sales team's objectives and goals.
2. Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance sales performance.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
4. Oversee the distribution and assignment of sales leads to ensure timely and appropriate engagement.
5. Monitor the progress and follow-through of leads, ensuring that they are effectively moved through the sales pipeline.
6. Provide regular reports on lead conversion rates, sales representative performance, and potential areas of improvement in lead management.
7. Collaborate with the marketing team to refine lead generation strategies based on sales feedback and conversion data.
8. Implement tools and processes to streamline lead management, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in tracking and reporting.
9. Organize and manage regular sales training sessions, ensuring all sales representatives are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform at their best.
10. Coordinate with external vendors or trainers when necessary and ensure that training content aligns with current sales strategies and objectives.
11. Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate sales driven marketing events, ensuring all logistics, content, and promotional materials are in place.
12. Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing events in driving sales and recommend adjustments, as necessary.
13. Ensure that all sales team members are adhering to best practices in using the Salesforce platform.
14. Develop, Monitor, and tune sales leadership and seller dashboards for optimal sales performance and margin potential.
15. Monitor and report on Salesforce usage, identifying areas where additional training or support may be necessary.
16. Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot any technical issues with Salesforce and implement necessary updates or enhancements.
17. Provide Sales team member support and learning opportunities for Salesforce best practices.
18. Act as a liaison between the sales, marketing, finance, IT, and other departments, ensuring alignment in strategies and objectives as needed.
19. Present regular updates to senior management on sales operations performance, challenges, and opportunities.
20. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in sales operations to ensure the company remains competitive.
21. Regularly evaluate current processes and tools and recommend enhancements or new solutions as needed.
22. Attend required company and department meetings.
23. Act in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and other sales related software.
